We’re thrilled to share that Susan Riccio has been unanimously appointed by the Methuen City Council as the new Executive Director of the Methuen Senior Activity Center!
A beloved and familiar face, Susan has been a pillar of the Methuen community since 1998. From launching the Adopt-a-Grandparent and Triad senior safety programs to founding the Happy Hearts group that’s thrived for 26 years, her commitment to our seniors is unmatched.
Susan has spent over three decades working tirelessly behind the scenes – helping residents with SNAP, fuel assistance, housing, and MassHealth applications – always with compassion and dedication. In 2021, she stepped up as Assistant Director, continuing her lifelong service to the Center and its mission.
As Executive Director, Susan is excited to build on this legacy with an open-door policy and a deep love for Methuen and its seniors. She’s a proud wife, mom, grandmother of five, and great-grandmother of two!
