Office of The Mayor
The Office of the Mayor in the City of Methuen is dedicated to providing strong leadership, promoting transparency, and fostering community engagement to ensure the well-being and prosperity of its residents. With a focus on effective governance, the Mayor's Office works collaboratively with the City Council, city departments, local businesses, and community organizations to develop and implement policies, initiatives, and services that address the unique needs and aspirations of Methuen's diverse population. By prioritizing economic development, public safety, education, and infrastructure improvements, the Mayor's Office strives to create a vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive city that offers a high quality of life for all residents.
I want you to look back and say this was a moment that things changed. My personal integrity is everything to me. I would encourage you to challenge my ideas - that will make them better - but I will never do anything that will make you question my integrity. I want us to think big, and I want us to be aggressive. Building community isn't just about what our government can do. It's really about what we all can do. From Mayor Neil Perry, Inaugural Remarks, January 6, 2020.
